Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a CSR - Client Service Representative - Travel Coordinator. As a Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, assisting them with their ground transportation travel arrangements, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Respond to customer inquiries regarding travel options, itineraries, and pricing via telephone, email, and chat platforms.
2. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by actively listening to their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
3. Assist clients with booking ground transportation, and other travel-related services as requested.
4. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on travel-related policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
5. Process and manage travel reservations efficiently using industry-specific software or platforms.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., affiliates, industry partners, etc.) to ensure seamless travel experiences for clients.
7. Reschedule and modify travel arrangements promptly in response to unforeseen events or client requests.
8. Resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients regarding their travel arrangements with professionalism and efficiency.
9. Keep abreast of industry trends, new travel policies, and changes in travel regulations that may impact our clients.
10. Collect and document client feedback and suggestions to continuously improve our services and offerings.
11. Assist in coordinating group travel arrangements, including managing group bookings and providing client specific support, if necessary.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field experience is preferred.
2. Proven experience in a customer service or similar role, preferably within the travel industry.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
4. Proficient computer skills, including experience with travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to customer issues.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also independently with minimal supervision.
8. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support our clients' travel needs.
9. Knowledge of different travel destinations, major airlines, airports and travel regulations is highly desirable.
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
