Executive Chauffeur

Job Description:

Chauffeur serves as our ambassador to LEADER clients by providing a safe and worry-free travel experience utilizing our LEADER Quality Service Standards and other training tools.

Reports To: 

Chauffeur Manager              

Core Competencies: 

  •  Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including sedans, vans, SUV’s, sprinter vans
  • Complete trip information via chauffeur internet portal on personal smart phone
  • Manage daily hours of service (HOS) and complete log books as needed for sprinters
  • Implement chauffeur policies and procedures as listed in Chauffeur & Employee Handbook
  • Practice safe driving techniques as stated in Safe Work Program
  • Maintain clean vehicle appearance inside & outside which includes car washes, refueling & vacuuming
  • Identify and report vehicle maintenance issues to Dispatcher or Fleet /Safety Manager immediately
  • Complete time in/out record keeping through Time IPS  

Essential Functions:

  • At the end of each shift, complete and turn in accurate vehicle inspections reports and HOS log
  • Attend and participate at all training and safety meetings as required
  • Assist in marketing, sales and promoting the values, mission and objectives of the company
  • Maintain professional licenses and stay updated on training and certifications to meet D.O.T., PAX, and all other regulatory requirements 

Accountabilities/Measurable Outcomes:

  • Meet monthly On-Time Standards of greater than 98% (15 minutes before pickup time)
  • No more than two vehicle or service incidents per year
  • Complete and turn in Vehicle Inspection Reports and/or Incident reports and HOS logs
  • Maintain 98% portal accuracy for logging trip status’
  • Maintain good driving habits with no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years 
  • Active participation is identified by management and all team members 

General Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or G.E.D. Equivalency)
  • Excellent communication verbal and written skills, personable, well-groomed
  • Maintain Insurability with good driving record, up to date DOT physical, MKC badge and MCI permit
  • Ability to read maps and utilize internet tools for street guides 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry multiple luggage that may be up to 50 pounds each, continually
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching and standing; Sitting for extending periods of time
  • Visual acuity
  • Hand, arm and leg functions necessary to drive LEADER vehicles
