Car Care Specialist

Location: Kansas City, MissouriEmployment Type: Full TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with flexibility to work weekends as needed for special projectsPay: $18-$20 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Car Care Specialist to help maintain our fleet vehicles and facilities in Kansas City. This hands-on position is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles, transporting vehicles to service appointments, assisting with rental vehicle pickups and returns, and keeping the garage and work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently, and is willing to assist with a variety of projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, vacuum, and detail fleet vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report visible damage or maintenance concerns.
• Transport vehicles to and from scheduled maintenance and repair appointments.
• Pick up and return rental vehicles as needed.
• Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the garage and other company facilities.
• Keep cleaning products, vehicle supplies, and other materials stocked and organized.
• Track supply needs and notify the appropriate team member when items need to be reordered.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, organization, and other operational projects.
• Follow company safety procedures while driving, cleaning vehicles, and handling supplies.
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed for special projects.
• Comfortable performing hands-on cleaning and light physical work.
• Previous vehicle detailing, fleet, transportation, facilities, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to [25–50] pounds.
• Ability to enter, exit, and drive vehicles repeatedly during a shift.
